2. ABOUT JESUS CHRIST
Jesus Christ is the Son of God. He is co-equal with the Father. Jesus lived in a sinless human life and offered Himself as the perfect sacrifice for the sins of all people by dying on a cross. He arose from the dead after three days to demonstrate His power over sin and death. He ascended to Heaven's glory and will Return again someday to earth to Reign as King of Kings, and Lord of Lords. 3.ABOUT THE HOLY SPIRIT
The Holy Spirit is co-equal with the Father and the Son of God. He is present in the world to make men aware of their need for Jesus Christ. He also lives in every Christian from the moment of salvation. He provides the Christian with Power for living, Understanding of spiritual truth, and Guidance in doing what is right. He gives every believer a spiritual gift when they are saved. 4. ABOUT THE BIBLE
The Bible is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for Correction for instruction in righteousness and was written by Holy Men of God as they were moved by the Holy Spirit. 2 Timothy 3:16; 2 Peter 1:21
5. ABOUT THE FALL OF MAN
Man was Created in the image of God; for God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness. However, by voluntary disobedience man fell and thereby incurred not only by Physical death, but also spiritual Death from God. Genesis 1:27; Psalms 8:3-6; Isaiah 53:6a; Romans 3:23; Isaiah 59:1, 2
6. ABOUT SALVATION
Salvation is God's free gift to us but we must accept it by faith. We can never make up for our sin by self-improvement or good works. Only by trusting in Jesus Christ as our Sin - Bearer we can be saved from sin's penalty. When we turn from our self-ruled life and turn to the Blood of Jesus we can be Saved Eternal life begins the moment one receives Jesus Christ into his life by faith. 7. ABOUT CHRISTIAN GROWTH
Christian maturity comes as we grow more like Christ in Character and Behavior. This process takes time, prayer, the Bible, relationships to others, a variety of life experiences and an attitude of submission to God's perfect plan. We do not grow to stay saved. We grow because we are saved. John 15:1, 5; 2 Peter 3:18; Romans 8: 28, 29;1 Peter 2:2-3; Hebrews 10:24, 25; Romans 12: 1, 2
8. ABOUT ANGELS
Angels are powerful, supernatural beings created to serve God. Angels protect God's children, wage an unseen spiritual war, and do God's will. A rebellion in heaven led by Lucifer (Satin) resulted in may angels being cast out of heaven and becoming fallen beings. Satan was Defeated by Jesus, when Jesus died and rose again. He opposes, tempts, and accuses God's people. When Jesus comes again, Satan and his demons will be cast into hell forever. 9. ABOUT ETERNITY
People were created to Exist Forever. We will either exist eternally separated from God by sin, or eternally with God through forgiveness and salvation. To be eternally separated from God is Hell. To be eternally in union with Him is Eternal Life. Heaven and Hell are real places of eternal existence. John 3:16; John 14:17; Romans 6:23; Romans 8:17-18; Revelation 20:15; 1 Corinthians 2:7-9
